Gorgeous cartel clokc witj its original base from the Louis XV period. Signed by clockmaker Charles Beauvillain master in 1733. Original green color, the surface is in horn. Original gilt bronze with beautiful mercurius gilding. Revised by our clockmaker, it is in working state. Rare on the antiques market.
Size: the clock is H 85- W 45-D20cm the base is an extra H35cm x W 46cm x D 24cm
Total on the wall once it is installed: H 120 cm
Lit: Charles Beauvillain became a master watchmaker in Paris in 1733. He was listed at Rue Dauphine in 1746, Rue des Grands Augustine in 1772, and Rue du Cimetière Saint-Andrè in 1778.
