An exquisite soft-paste porcelain cup and saucer from the year 1765, crafted by the Sèvres Manufactory. The piece features a deep "bleu lapis" ground with finely gilded borders and a central lively bird motif, capturing the 18th-century French taste for naturalism.

Cup – height 4.9 cm, diameter 5.3 cm
Saucer – 10.7 × 10.7 cm

Painters:

Jean-Louis Morin (active 1754–1787), known for scenes of figures, birds, flowers, and military settings;

François-Joseph Aloncle (active 1758–1781), specialized in ornithological subjects.
