A fine soft-paste porcelain cup and saucer finely painted in polychrome enamels. The cup is decorated with flowers in a pot, while the center of the saucer features a bouquet of flowers framed by garlands between blue and gilt borders.
The piece demonstrates the refined craftsmanship of the Sèvres manufactory during the late Louis XVI period. Marked in red with interlaced “LL” for Sèvres, date letter “OO” for 1791, and painter’s mark of Nicquet.
