A third-size (troisième grandeur) soft-paste porcelain straight-sided cup and saucer from the Royal Sèvres Manufactory, dating to around 1768. The white-glazed surface is finely painted with a multi-colored landscape scene, framed within a mosaic-style œil-de-perdrix pattern composed of interlaced blue, red, and gold dots. The composition is elegant and layered, reflecting the refined aesthetic of 18th-century French porcelain.
The base bears the interlaced double L mark with date letter “P” for 1768, and the painting is attributed to Jean Bouchet, an active Sèvres painter of the period.
Dimensions: Height of cup: 6 cm; Diameter of saucer: 12 cm
Good condition, clean glaze and well-preserved gilding, no restoration.
