A Sèvres hard-paste porcelain litron cup and saucer of the fourth size, decorated in polychrome enamels with chinoiserie scenes reserved on a purple ground. The borders are adorned with small medallions of landscape vignettes and gilt parasols.
The cup is marked with interlaced and crowned “LL”, date letter “DD” for 1781, and the painter’s mark of Jean-Jacques Dieu.
The saucer bears the same royal monogram without date letter, and the painter’s mark of Louis-Antoine Legrand.
