This pair of rare vases is remarkable for its shape, a pedestal supporting a very wide body and tapering to a neck flaring into a large cone.
The base and the collar are adorned with delicate gold patterns.
The beauty of these vases is enriched by their matt blue background.
The patterns are shiny on this matt background.
There are two ancient dancers playing tambourine and triangle. Their drapes are studded with stars, on this blue background one could think of symbolic constellations.
On the reverse we will see two different attributes of music.
The quality of these vases is in the best standard of Paris porcelain.
