Pair of rare 1800 century Grand Tour pedestals

Chased patinated bronze and green marble.
These fine supports are designed using a Greco-Roman decorative vocabulary.
Broad palmettes in a lambrequin style adorn the sides, while the voluted *trapezophoros* legs rest on sandal-shaped feet.
These unusual objects are distinguished by the excellent quality of the bronze work.
Condition:
Bronze intact; a newly cut marble piece has replaced the original, which was too damaged.
