Clock in the shape of Ceres' chariot drawn by two oxen, made of patinated bronze and finely chased and mercury-gilded bronze. The ring dial is enameled in blue, white, and gold and is signed HILAIRE BASSEREAU. The octagonal base is decorated with agricultural trophies and a wreath of wheat ears, with spinning-top-shaped feet.

Presumably a student of Lépine. Located at the Palais Royal.
