Louis XV secretary desk Stamped By Boudin

This secretary desk is curved on the sides and front.

It opens with a drawer featuring an inverted cyma molding, two doors, and a drop-front without a crossbar.

It is inlaid with rosewood in a herringbone pattern, cartouches, and framed in amaranth.
Inside, it reveals two curved drawers and two rosewood shelves.

This secretary desk is distinguished by the purity of its craftsmanship and the rarity of the absence of a crossbar between the two doors and the drop-front.

The top is made of breccia marble with a molded edge.

A Louis XV period piece, stamped L. BOUDIN and JME Léonard Boudin (1735-November 20, 1807), who became a master craftsman on March 4, 1761.
