Two-handled cup in soft-paste Sèvres porcelain, with a green ground, richly decorated with gilded fillets and scrolling foliage. The body features a finely painted polychrome floral composition: a rose, a yellow poppy, and clusters of lilac bloom elegantly against the white porcelain, in a style characteristic of the Rococo taste.
Marked on the underside: interlaced “LL” in underglaze blue, with the date letter “D”, corresponding to the year 1757. Signed by the painter TANDART l’aîné (Jean-Baptiste Tandart), active from 1754 to 1800, one of the leading floral decorators at the Sèvres manufactory.
Condition: Very good condition.
