Aizelin was a student of Dumont and exhibited at the Salon between 1852 and 1897. He won a gold medal at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1889 and was named Knight of the Legion of Honor in 1867. Barbedienne performed Psyche in seven measures. This version is medium sized.
