Pair of large Paris porcelain spindle vases circa 1830

These large vases are colored with a blue background close to celestial blue.
Chain link motifs enhance a cartouche presenting a woman from Antiquity.
We are of exceptional quality, the golden patterns are enhanced with lighter gold threads and interlacing.
The portraits are of a miniaturist quality.
Matte blue is rarely used due to the technical difficulty of its application and its fragility.
As here, Antique pottery has often inspired the great porcelain makers of Paris.
