Small Louis XV Period Wall Console Attributed To Jean Popsel

Its crossbow movement front opens with a drawer inlaid with butterfly wing rosewood framed in kingwood. Its curved sides are also inlaid with rosewood, also framed with kingwood. This console rests on four curved legs inlaid with a fluting in rosewood framed in kingwood. Its gilded bronze trim includes falls, clogs, entrance, handles and apron.
