A sideboard made of mahogany and mahogany veneer, consisting of a tall cabinet that opens at the front with a single drawer, and two curved side panels, decorated identically to the front with a panel of burl mahogany, highlighted by a gilded bronze frame. The upper section is supported by four mahogany columns with gilded brass fluting, resting on a white marble base set into the frame and encircled by a brass astragal, which is itself supported by four spindle-shaped legs. An original mirror, framed by mahogany and gilded bronze molding, adorns the back of the piece. It is topped by a veined white marble slab set with an openwork gilded bronze gallery featuring drapery motifs. A Parisian piece from the late 18th century in the style of Bernard MOLITOR’s works.
