Decorative duo in porcelain depicting two seated pugs.
Their white glazed coats are enhanced with hand-painted light and dark brown patches.
The faces, particularly expressive, feature large, slightly protruding rounded eyes and a short muzzle typical of the breed. Delicate shades of grey and brown highlight the reliefs and expressions.
Each dog is adorned with a distinct decorative collar:
the male wears a collar embellished with small gilt beads, while the female is distinguished by yellow-toned beads.
Their postures differ subtly: one adopts a more upright and attentive attitude, while the other displays a softer, calmer appearance, creating a beautiful sense of complementarity.
The tails, finely sculpted in spirals, recall one of the emblematic characteristics of the pug.
