Set of eight 18th-century Chinese porcelain knives

A beautiful set of eight knives with Chinese porcelain handles decorated in imitation of Japanese Imari ceramics.

The decoration features polychrome peony and chrysanthemum scrolls in underglaze blue, iron red, and yellow and turquoise enamels.
The entire set is delicately outlined with gold trim.

In very good condition.

Chinese work for export to Europe, 18th century.
