Meissen porcelain love letter case, circa 1760

A beautiful polychrome porcelain case from the Meissen Manufactory.
Decorated with exquisite scenes of gallantry inspired by the works of Antoine Watteau and Nicolas Lancret, within a frame decorated with purple fish scales.

In excellent condition, with a hairline crack visible on one side.
