Pair of monumental gilt bronze candelabra, France coirca 1850

Maison Miller was a prominent Parisian éditeur d’art active during the first half of the 19th century, renowned for producing high-quality bronze doré for elite and prestigious interiors.

Executed in an opulent Louis XV Revival style, the candelabra feature a richly modelled base, an elegantly twisted stem and scrolling arms adorned with acanthus leaves and rocaille ornament. The refined chasing and warm, even gilding are characteristic of superior Parisian bronze work from the mid-19th century.

With their sculptural presence and generous proportions, these candelabra were designed as statement pieces for grand salons and distinguished interiors.

Dimensions:
– With crown (each): 71 × 45 cm
– Without crown (each): 40 × 23 cm
