Ovoid stoneware jug from the Westerwald region (Hesse, Germany) decorated in blue and manganese on a grey background with an openwork rosette surrounded by two vertical bands composed of lion heads and spears.
On the neck, a mascot framed by foliage.
Circa 1650-1675, second half of the 17th century.
Height: 27 cm.
Tiny chip visible on the neck.
