A large trapezoidal console table in carved and gilded wood, with rounded sides, a protruding front, and sides decorated with a frieze of palmettes on a gray bas-relief background, inspired by antique designs ; supported by four truncated cone-shaped legs, composed of a fluted shaft topped with an Ionic capital; the legs connected at the bottom by a carved wooden crossbar, openwork with rosettes on the sides ; a round central terrace supporting a large carved wooden vase of antique inspiration. The original white veined marble tops this console on a wide frieze of carved wooden ovals.
Parisian work attributable to the Ateliers de Jacob, Louis XVI period, second half of the 18th century.
