The deep cobalt blue ceramic bowl is elegantly mounted in finely chased gilt bronze, in the Louis XVI style. The mounts feature handles in the form of stylized dragons, a rim decorated with laurel motifs, and a stepped foot. The whole rests on four finely crafted bronze feet, giving this centerpiece a remarkable decorative presence, combining chromatic intensity, quality of execution, and classical refinement.
