Niderviller earthenware statuette depicting a tinker or shoe shiner standing leaning against a wooden column, wearing striped trousers and a checked waistcoat. He is holding a brush in his left hand and has a stool on his left shoulder behind him. He is standing on a terrace, natural setting.
Model by Cyfflé, Custine period (1770-1793). 18th century.
Height: 20.5 cm.
Chip at the tip of the nose, feet of the stool and outline of the base repaired.
