Two “Etruscan” cups and saucers in soft porcelain from Sèvres, 1795-96

Two cups and saucers known as “gobelet bandeau” or “gobelet étrusque”
made of soft Sèvres porcelain with polychrome decoration of an undergrowth landscape in medallions with gold trim on a blue background. Frieze of garlands and foliage.
On the reverse, the intertwined initials RF with Sèvres in full letters, the mark of the painter Commelin and the gilder Prévost.
Between 1795-1796, 18th century.
Height of the cup: 8 cm; diameter of the saucer: 16.5 cm.
