Chest of drawers opening to three drawers without rail, in marquetry with hearts and rhombuses interlaced on bottom of wood of pink with finely regraved carnations, the interlaces are of boxwood and amaranth, the links in red tinted sycamore. The projecting sides are inlaid with flowering foliage, the cutaway front jambs are decorated with false fluting and end in small curved feet.
Superb chased and gilded bronze fittings; top in ‘Breche d'Alep’ marble.
Transitional Louis XV -Louis XVI period.
