A magnificent hard-paste porcelain plate by the Sèvres Manufactory, dated 1835, featuring a vibrant green ground with finely painted floral bouquets emerging from gold scrollwork, accented with colorful butterflies. The central medallion depicts a blooming flower, surrounded by gilded arabesques.
Painted by Jacques-Nicolas Sisson, one of the most skilled members of the renowned Sisson family of decorators, active between 1795 and 1845.

Provenance: Commissioned in 1838 by King Louis-Philippe as part of a 60-piece service destined for his sister, Madame Adélaïde, at the Château de Randan. This service was known as "fond vert impressions dorées dans des fleurs".
Condition: Very good overall condition?the gilding shows slight natural wear consistent with the age of the piece.
