A magnificent Flemish work that describes this magical event in an extraordinarily rich and sumptuous manner, with an atmosphere of fantastic features and markedly fairy-tale tones.
This "Adoration of the Shepherds", which has no equal for the complexity of the composition and the incredible multitude of characters depicted, is an impressive celebration of the most mysterious and fascinating festival that the Christian religion offers us.
The Author, with a work of great commitment, manages to convey to us positive sensations, full of joy, where the event of the Birth of Christ and the subsequent arrival of the Magi with their large following, is seen as an important message of peace and serenity.
The particularly warm and bright colours, which have remained perfectly unchanged, are of rare beauty and contribute to making the table a more unique than rare jewel.
