These unusual sconces are inspired by silver models made for Louis XIV, then melted down for the needs of Monsieur Mars.
This pair of beautiful wall lights is composed by a frame with scrolls, heads of fauns in profile hold foliage between their teeth, the pediment is characterized by a shell and there is a second halo.
Bouquets of flowers and ribbons decorate the set, lights and sockets are quite like Regency style fixtures.
Very beautiful crystal cups with scalloped edges, adorn the "binets" for candles.

State :

Excellent condition, beautiful luminous gilding with a nice aged patina. There are a few stains in the stain of the mirror which are not a defect for this type of wall lamp.
