Charming oil painting by the French artist Claudius Seignol (1858 - 1926).
Dimensions: 71,5 x 98 cm - Gilded frame with mouldings - Signed.
Born in Roanne (Loire) and died in Lyon. A chemist by training, he was a pupil of Jean-Baptiste Louis Guy (1858-1926), known for his paintings of animals, genre scenes and landscapes. He exhibited in Lyon since 1885, mainly landscapes, animals and figures.
