Walnut bureau plat - Lyon 18th century

Charming flat desk in walnut, from the 18th century, whose molded top is lined with brown morocco highlighted with a gilded border with small irons.
The flat desk, often placed in the center of a room, had to be decorated on all sides. The small desk that we present responds to this request by opening with three belt drawers at the front and presenting three false drawers at the back. Both sides are identically decorated with keyholes as well as original bronze pull handles with foliage decoration.
It also rests on an arched base with ''pieds de biche'' topped with acanthus foliage, typical of Lyon productions of the 18th century.
