Large orientalist painting painted by Colonel Denuc. Chef de corps with the rank of colonel between 1873-1877. He was part of the 126th Infantry Regiment (126th RI) which is an infantry regiment of the French Army created by Napoleon from two Dutch infantry regiments in 1810.
Original oil on canvas. Signed and dated Denuc 1898 lower left. Has a label on the frame: Colonel Denuc.
