Finely painted in enamels and gilt, the top of the cover decorated with elegant ladies in painting activities , exterior border decorated with a mass of densely-clustered millefleurs including chrysanthemums, the interior of the cover with two ladies viewing cherry trees, the interior of the box with a peony.
