A rare Masonic certificate from the Grand Lodge of Maryland

The Masonic certificate with a dry stamp is handwritten in English and drawn on parchment. This record from the Grand Lodge of Maryland (USA) is dated from 1796 August the 31st. It is certifying that Félix Anthoine is now a regular master freemason from the "Veritas Sanctis Johannis Lodge, No 16".

It is preserved in its red Morocco leather wallet embroidered with gold thread decoration of flowered scrolls and inscribed "Félix Anthoine / A Marseille" on the front and “Constantinople / 1804" on the back.
