Large Chinese Armorial Porcelain Platter – Qianlong Period (1736–1795)

Large rectangular Chinese porcelain platter with canted corners and a shaped rim, decorated in polychrome with a large Dutch coat of arms at the center, bearing the motto “VORVAERTS” (Forward). The border is adorned with a fine line and flowering branches.
