"Still life of roses and plums"

This appreciation, as well as the high auctions recently achieved in public sales by works by Furcy de Lavault, show how much this Charente artist seduced his time by many purchases of French museums and international collectors is rediscovered today, to favor of the interest of the art world in the "naturalist" painting of the 19th century

He participated in many salons in the south of France and then presented his works at the great painting exhibition of Paris from 1880 until 1891.

The museum of the city of Pau bought him in 1881 the work "grenades and chrysanthemums", he received many awards and mentions in exhibitions.

The museums of Saintes, La Rochelle keep his works.
