Gilt bronze clock of Consulate period

Rare pendulum with an architectural decoration of the Consulate (Return of Egypt). The lower part consists of a chimney framed by two griffins, and decorated with two andirons in the shape of an oil lamp. At the bottom of this fireplace, a small valet kneeling cleans the plate.

Condition report: Very good condition. Wear of use to the gilding. Small glaze with enamel at the left winding socket. Revised by our watchmaker.
