Henczné Deák Adrienne (1890–1957) was a renowned Hungarian artist of the first half of the 20th century and a recognized master of still-life painting.
Her works are held in the collection of the Hungarian National Gallery.
Early in her artistic career, she gained recognition for expressive paintings depicting animals, but it was her floral still lifes that brought her the greatest international acclaim.
Her signature works included field bouquets of peonies, roses, lilacs, and sunflowers. Some of her paintings are distinguished by a soft, impressionistic manner of painting, deep, noble tones, and an exceptional rendering of the texture of flower petals, as seen in this still life.
