A Parisian lacquered chest of drawers with a black background, featuring Chinese-inspired lacustrine scenes with pagodas and figures on all sides; the front opens with two drawers without a divider, the sides are curved, the waistband is slightly scalloped, and it rests on four legs. Gilded bronze ornamentation, including lock plates, pull handles decorated with facing phoenixes, corner finials, and feet.
Red marble top with grooves.
Louis XV period.
Stamped by François-Antoine Reizell, who became a master cabinetmaker in 1764.
