Large pediment mirror mid 17th century

A large mirror made of carved and gilded wood, consisting of a frame carved with lambrequins and six spandrels, set with four matching mirrors joined by a central ring. The mirror is topped by a large gilded wooden pediment, carved in a full-arch style, featuring a large shell at the top surmounting a half-vase decorated with magpies and eagles on its sides.
French work from the mid-seventeenth century.
