Angelo Scarabello (Este, December 13, 1712 – Padua, June 5, 1795) was a goldsmith, sculptor, and silversmith,
active in Padua, Venice, and the Veneto region in the second half of the 18th century. He created religious objects: monstrances, tabernacle doors, and reliquaries, sometimes marked with his initials AS
as in our altarpieces. In the Basilica del Santo in Padua, he sculpted the doors of the niches in the Treasury Chapel and created decorations for the Altar of the Ark.
