Shaped glove tray in lacquered wood with a blue background and openwork handles; the rich polychrome and gilded decoration depicts flowers, scrolls, and delicate lace framing a fanciful exotic garden with an opium smoker, comfortably seated under a curious parasol, and two servants at his side.
