A bronze vase with a rounded body and tall neck, featuring a finely hammered surface and relief decoration of Manchurian cranes in flight, signed Miyao. The decoration is dominated by a large group of Manchurian cranes, a traditional symbol in Japanese art, depicted in flight with outstretched wings and varied poses.
Ornamental floral motifs in relief enrich the base and the rim of the neck, carefully defined and contrasting with the hammered ground. Signature under the base.
