An elegant pair of wall lights in finely chased gilt bronze from the Louis XVI period.
Model with two light arms.
Fluted and rudented shaft, surmounted by an antique-style vase.
Sinuous arms with double scroll motifs.
Drip pans decorated with gadroons and water leaves.
Fluted nozzles with foliate decoration.
Very fine original mercury gilding.
(The nozzles have been discreetly pierced for electrification, but not the drip pans.)
(Minor restoration at the base of one.)
Late 18th-century work in very good condition.
The double scrolls are particularly well executed.
