This is a wide console table with four curved legs, supported by four crossbars, three of which are carved, openwork, and gilded. The front crossbar features, in its central section, an openwork shell framed by two checkered panels decorated with foliage and flowers. The four legs, decorated with inverted shells at the top, all feature large, leaf-shaped feet supported by spindles. The piece is topped with a wide marble top known as “Rouge de Rance.”
