A Japanese cloisonné enamel vase with wisteria, worked with fine silver wires on a midnight blue ground, signed Ota Hyozo. From the shoulder descend long clusters of wisteria (fuji) in white and purple. The neck and base are finished with gilt metal mounts with engraved dotted decoration. Signature engraved under the base.
