REQUEST INFORMATION
A subject favored by Pierre Hodé, still life occupies an important place in his work. The bottle and the glass of wine, the ladle, the blue pot and the stoneware pitcher appear in many paintings from his “Cubist-influenced” period of the 1920s. These personal objects accompanied him throughout his life, from Rouen to Montmartre at the Bateau-Lavoir, and later to Montparnasse, where he settled with his wife in 1923.
