A pair of cloisonné vases decorated with polychrome enamels and silver wire on a deep blue ground, depicting a flower garden rendered with refined chromatic subtlety. The decoration interweaves chrysanthemums, cascading clusters of wisteria, irises, maple leaves, and blooming peonies. The composition, balanced and continuous across the two vases, enhances the contrast between the dark ground and the vividly colored naturalistic motifs.
Period: Meiji period, late 19th century
Dimensions: 31 × 13 cm
