Gold And Enamel Vinaigrette By Moulinié And Bautte

Gold vinaigrette in the shape of a floral basket.
It is entirely enameled in blue on a guilloché sunburst background.
The lid is adorned with a bouquet of polychrome flowers placed on a basket, highlighted by two rows of fine pearls and black enamel alternating with chased gold and white dots.
The border is finely worked in gold and enamel and features a rosette in its center.
The back is entirely enameled.
It opens to reveal a hinged grille in two colors of gold, chased with flowers.
It bears the hallmarks of Neuchâtel and the goldsmiths Moulinié and Bautte.
Dimensions: 5.5 cm x 2.1 cm.
Weight: 21 g.

Jean François Bautte partnered with Jacques-Dauphin Moulinié and founded M & B.
Ten years later, Gabriel Moynier joined them in 1804, and the company Moulinié Bautte et Cie was created.
They excelled in watches and other pieces. Exquisite jewelry.
They cultivate a clientele in French-speaking Switzerland as well as internationally, notably in Turkey, India, and China…

The most fashionable jewelry and precious object store in Geneva is undoubtedly Bautte. It is difficult to imagine a richer collection of these marvels, which exude a feminine soul; it would drive a Parisian woman mad, it would make Cleopatra tremble with envy in her tomb…
