The lid is adorned with a bouquet of polychrome flowers placed on a basket, highlighted by two rows of fine pearls and black enamel alternating with chased gold and white dots.
The border is finely worked in gold and enamel and features a rosette in its center.
The back is entirely enameled.
It opens to reveal a hinged grille in two colors of gold, chased with flowers.
It bears the hallmarks of Neuchâtel and the goldsmiths Moulinié and Bautte.
