A Louis XVI painted and gilted wooden Clock

Very finely carved, painted and gilded wooden clock with neoclassical decoration.
The prominent round dial, surrounded by a wide frieze of water leaves and a large beaded border, is centred by beautiful carved motifs: doves, a large knotted ribbon, a crown of flowers, trophies of arms and a basket of flowers.

The domed white porcelain dial features Roman numerals for the hours ,the minutes in arabic numerals , and opens at the front with a push button. Original movement in working order.
Work from Liège from the Louis XVI period.
