The Beurdeley dynasty
Beurdeley was a renowned dynasty of cabinetmakers and bronze-makers in the 19th century, active for three generations from 1818 to 1895.
They were celebrated for the exceptional quality of their mercury-gilt bronzes and fine chasing, executed in the tradition of the 18th century.
