Circular earthenware dish decorated in polychrome to the glory of the Orange family of the Netherlands. In the center is a covered urn framed by flags of the United Provinces with the initials V V O R for Vivat Orange. Frieze of oranges on the wing.

In the late 18th century, spurred by the independence of the United Provinces and the accession of the Prince of Orange to the throne, the Delft manufactures created a number of designs on the orange theme. This one is one of the rarest.
